Anniversary...

It is hard to believe that 10 years have passed since the morning all of our loved ones gathered together in a church in Southern California to witness our first moments as husband as wife. Yet, here we are....10 years, three children and a few gray hairs later.

This weekend we celebrated this glorious milestone by spending a day and half on a 32 acre farm out in Franklin, TN. Dan's mom and sister surprised him with a visit to care for the kids while we enjoyed our time at the Blue Moon Farm Bed and Breakfast. It was a quaint cottage in the middle of nothing but green grasses, towering oak trees and billowing white clouds. The serenity of the inn gave us time to laugh together, recount favorite memories of years past and sit together on an old tree swing while the Tennessee sun set behind the tree line. God gave us this precious time together and He honored our marriage with us as we celebrated. Today we are celebrating how the Lord has knit our hearts together, how He has blessed our marriage and that through the demonstration of His love we have learned how to love one another. Enjoy the pictures of our time together and when you're done, get up and go tell your spouse how much you love him or her, they are God's precious blessing to you....as you are to them.

Season of Change....

Happy Easter! What a blessed day we had here in Nashville. We enjoyed a beautful service at church and spent the afternoon with some of our dearest friends! Thank you Sanders Family...we love you guys!

It seems as though there is so muchon which to update you, but we will attempt to address everything. Life has taken some interesting twists and turns over the past couple of weeks. In the earlier parts of March Dan reached a milestone...that's right he turned 30! We had a great celebration with our family and there is more celebration yet to come as we look forward to our 10 year anniversary at the end of this month. More on this later.....

As some of you already know, JJ's stepfather (a.k.a. Bendad, as the kiddos call him) suffered a heart attack earlier this week. We are so thankful for the prayers many of you offered up for Ben and for the rest of our family. God has been so gracious to our family! We are happy to share that he is now resting and recovering at home.


Finally, we are announcing that at the end of May we will be moving back to southern California. Yes, read the sentence again it says we're moving back. It has been an interesting change that has taken us time to get our minds around, and yet we have no doubts that this is where God is leading our family. Our time here in Nashville has been absolutely wonderful and we have treasured every moment. The Lord has blessed us with amazing friends and neighbors and a church that we will forever call home. However, we know that God has a plan and purpose for bringing us back to our hometown. We look forward to spending time with family and old friends.

Enjoy these first few days of spring. The warm air, fresh flowers and all of the new life that is right in front of you. About 2000 years ago New Life sprang forth for you this very day, the tomb was empty and death was swallowed up in victory. May you be blessed by the one who is called the Redeemer, the Prince of Peace...Jesus.
